What we collect

• Host/organizer: a mobile number for login.
• Participants: the name/nickname given at join. If a roster is used, the name and ID/roll number.
• Contact phone: only if provided in the roster — a phone number to send result SMS (e.g. a guardian or manager).

How we use it

To verify login, run live quizzes/assessments, produce results, and send result SMS to the saved phone. We never sell this data. ★Quizzes, rosters, answers and results are never used for advertising — no advertising tracker is loaded on the play or exam screens at all (see below).

Cookies & measurement

On our public website, login and billing pages we use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — to understand how many people visit, which pages work, and which ads bring customers. When a purchase completes, a server event is also sent to Meta's Conversions API.

★Where none of this runs: the live play screen, the exam screen, the projector, published results and certificates — no advertising tracker is loaded on any of these. Two reasons: the people on these screens are often students (many of them minors), and on a slow connection every extra script slows the game down.

Email and phone numbers are always one-way hashed (SHA-256) before being sent to Meta — never in the clear. If you prefer to block tracking, your browser's cookie settings or any ad blocker will do it, and no QuizJhor feature will stop working.

How long we keep it

Game and assessment data is deleted automatically after 90 days. Expired login codes and SMS logs are pruned regularly. Each organization's data is isolated to that organization only (row-level security). Exception: verifiable certificates are designed to be long-lived proof, so the 90-day rule doesn't apply to them; any certificate can be revoked on the organization's request.

Stopping result SMS

To stop result SMS, tell the relevant organization, or write to us via the contact form — we'll remove the number. Contact form

Deletion requests

You can delete your account and data yourself — Delete your account and request it there. There is a 7-day window to cancel, and the page spells out exactly what is deleted and what is retained. If you need help, get in touch.
